There is a bunch of new information on-line. Good rainy day reading!!

The Nova Scotia Guide to Pest Management in Wild Blueberries 2015 is posted. 2015 Wild Blueberry Pest Guide

New Pesticide Charts!

I have added a second way to look at pesticides for blueberry growers.  It is based on the pesticide chart that has been developed by the University of Maine, but it has been adapted for Canadian registered products.  There are three pesticide charts that list registered products for use in wild blueberries.  This will be updated on an annual basis.

Remember to always read the product label before use and check with your buyer or processor to make sure those products are allowable for their markets!

They can be printed on 11x17 paper and posted on the wall of your office or in your workplace as a quick reference. Click on the links below to take a peak.

I have also updated the links on the Nova Scotia Wild Blueberry Best Management practices web directory http://perennia.ca/BlueberryBMP/blueberrybmps.html

Finally, New Brunswick has been pulling together a great Wild Blueberry IPM Weed Management Guide for quite a few years.  Gavin Graham just sent along a link to the 2015 version.
